What does the day 11-12-13 have in store?

What does the day 11(November)-12(Day)-13(Year) have in store? Consider the following:

•    It is the 316th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. There are 49 days remaining until the end of the year.

•    David's Bridal estimates that more than 3,000 couples will get married on 11/12/13; compared to Nov. 11 of last year, that’s a 722 percent increase.

•    Fueling the rush to the altar on 11/12 this year is the rarity of it: the next consecutively-numbered date doesn’t roll along until Dec. 13, 2014.

•    After that, in purest numerical form, another consecutive date won’t mark the calendar again until next century.

•    At 2:11:21 a.m., it will be 12/11 2:11:21 which is three repeats of three numbers: 121-121-121.

•    At 8:09:10 a.m., the time and date will read as 8:09:10 11/12/13, a full complement of consecutive numbers.

•    At 2:15:16 p.m., when stated in military time, it will be 11/12/13 14:15:16; a series of six increasing numbers.

•    For a simple sequence, at 9:10 p.m., it will be 9:10 11/12/13.

•    At 10:21:11 p.m., when stated in military time, it will be 11/12 22:21:11, which gives us a palindrome of 11122-22111.

White Label ATMs - WLAs in India

Non-bank entities that setting up, owning and operating ATMs in India is called as White Label ATM Operators (WLAO). Non-bank owned & operated ATMs are called as White Label ATMs (WLAs).

On June 20, 2012 Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invited applications from minimum Rs.100 Crore net worth non-bank entities which incorporated in India under Companies Act 1956, to get authorisation to set up WLAs.

With an 23-25% year-on-year growth in the number of ATMs (90,000+ presently), their deployment has been predominantly in Tier I and Tier II centres. Adding on to banks efforts in this direction lots more to be done.

This move from RBI is to encourage setting up ATMs in Tier III and Tier IV centres and rural India.

After obtaining authorisation from RBI under the Payment and Settlement Systems (PSS) Act 2007 WLAs can start the operations in India. As a prerequisite non-banking entities getting authorisation for WLAs shoulda maintain a minimum net worth of Rs.100 crore at all times.

'PerFormer' will be a 'Former' one day.

All the great team will have their bad day.

In today's (18-01-2013) match Australian Cricket Team scored its 2nd least score of 74 runs for a 10 wicket loss against Srilanka Cricket Team. Score card was reading in 18 overs 38 runs for 8 wicket loss. The last 2 wicket partnerships scored equally to the prior 8 wicket partnerships.

Any day it's a sport. Take it sportive. No fights and No complaining about the players - we are not experts to evaluate their performance in one match.

They, players, have come a long way playing the same sport and yes, there is a time to retire - let them decide on it. They are published around the world, they play for a national team, they made us proud at many a times, they even won the World cups, they know when they are ill, they know when they are struggling, they know when to say good bye. Lets give them their space.

#Respect the Sport #Respect the Performer #No Performer is God #PerFormer will be a Former one day.

Petrol Vs Diesel

I have gained momentum in India over last 30 years and now standing at a point you will never reach says Petrol.

I have powered and energised the economy of India during my entire life span in this land. I have created millions of lorry wallas, where I am the lifeline to run their own business. - says Diesel.

I have energised the air transport which make you reach across continents in few hours or in couple of days. - Says Petrol.

I have energised N number of ships all around the world which carries even you to the nook and corners of human space. - says Diesel.

Now the question time!!

Come you tell me who is highly beneficial to the human kind ? Who will help any economy to sustain even in massive economic falls ? Who will help a nation to win wars ? Who is friendly to environment ? Who does more good to you ?

Who wins the race Petrol or Diesel ??

Target - Petrol Vs Diesel.

Golden Rules to Avoid Management Crises.

Golden Rules to Avoid Management Crises.

They raise the effective manager’s efficiency when they occur and after they occur:

1- To be a successful manager, you should identify individuals who are outstanding in their performance and behavior and seek to promote their skills.

2- To action can succeed without a definite time program, and a program of action without planning is impossible to implement. You should also place alternatives to avoid crises.

3- It is wrong to seek to solve all problems simultaneously. You should set priorities.

4- You should learn the most important thing about everything. Learn everything about the most important  things in your field of work.

5- To receive observations is part of the manager’s profession and it is proficient to be ready for them and deal with them and encourage, yet it is wrong to accept criticism or an opinion without making a comment or as a matter to be granted.

6- Your strength does not lie in power given to you by your superior. Rather, your influence lies in the acceptance you can get among your colleagues and supervisors.

7- The correct option in the wrong time and the wrong opinion in the right time are both bad and so are decisions.

8- You should expect pressures in work. A successful manager should reduce their effect on crisis occurrence, in cooperation with the team, discipline in work, creativity, high drive for achievement and overcoming insufficient time.

9- The issue is not to face problems, difficulties or losses and the aim is not to make profits or overcome rivals but rather in the final outcome: Is it or not to your benefit? Is this outcome to the benefit of the entity or not?

10- Believe it or not, the problem is not how to deal with the crisis but how to behave after its ends. What are the necessary preventive measures? What are the means and alternatives to resume activity?

The effective manager’s management behavior includes the following points:

  •  Closing the door before crisis occurrence.
  •  Reducing the opportunities for crisis occurrence.
  •  Having indicators of crisis occurrence.
  •  Expecting and monitoring signs of crisis occurrence.
  •  Facing and reducing the passive aspects of crises and   acting    positively towards them.
  •  Having the possibility of getting advantages from crisis occurrence.

The Facebook Effect...

Wondering what these social media can do in our daily life and in our daily business, these days it become's as a part of our daily activities. Every morning - wake up FB Notification check !, then getting up from bed. So, today FB is even in our bed.

How those young people made it, How they made all the global business giants their followers and customers for FB Marketing. Today even the FB Analytic's makes hell a lot of revenue. The FB - Social media plugin makes sense on all the business websites. They speak to general public or even to the targeted segment via FB. The most amazing thing is, a week ago one of the globally listed multinational consulting firm announced its 19th annual general meeting via Facebook before any other media.

In India we are really slow in accepting this huge change in social media, we are still reluctant in having a engaging Facebook page. Fortune 1000 companies has their highest customer engagement through Facebook and Twitter. We make plugins for them as a ITES but not making one for our-self. When we going to make it ? Even the Management Consulting firms releasing their reports saying India has more potential - in terms of Job market, Revenue and Business Opportunities and what not.

They are doing it again ! Yes, they are. We work for them and we place ourselves in their lock. I wish we Indians should have changed a little earlier - Facebook is not running with out our economy. We Indians mean more than 40% share of Facebook's revenue. Let's encourage it and grow with it.

Don't just be a user of social platform in Facebook, be a user of the business platform in Facebook.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Champions Team India-Every Indian.

This is Cricket. This time for India. For Sachin. For men in Blue.

"I couldn't have asked for anything more than this. Winning the World Cup is the proudest moment of my life. Thanks to my team-mates. Without them, nothing would have happened. I couldn't control my tears of joy."
Sachin Tendulkar, who's played six World Cups, on his best moment.

"I took a quite few decisions tonight, if we hadn't won I would have been asked quite a few questions: Why no Ashwin, why Sreesanth, why no Yuvraj, why did I bat ahead?! That pushed me and motivated to do well"
MS Dhoni puts a light spin on his selection decisions ahead of India's title win.

"This is unbelievable. The Under-19 World Cup, then the World Twenty20 but this is the most special. For Sachin, for everyone else."
Yuvraj Singh, the Player of the Tournament, sums it up.

"Very proud of everyone, especially Mahela who rose up to the occasion and put up a great hundred. When you look at this Indian team anything less than 350 looks less! They deserved this title, the way they played in front of a great crowd."
Kumar Sangakkara, the Sri Lanka captain, is gracious in defeat.

"All credit goes to Sachin Tendulkar. We played for him. Beating Australia and Pakistan and now this, its a dream come true."
Gautam Gambhir, who gave India the upper hand in the final with his 97.

"It means the world to me. I have been part of the three World Cups. This is for the nation. Thank you very much, we love you. This cup is for the people. Love you India!"
Harbhajan Singh was among several Indian players who shed a tear following India's victory.

"This goes out to all the people of India. This is my first World Cup; I can't ask for more. Tendulkar has carried the burden of nation for 21 years; It was time we carried him. Chak de India!"
Virat Kohli leads the Tendulkar tributes.

Winning moments are special, this is more special - Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar's worldcup dream (every Indians dream). Lifting the Cricket Worldcup after 28 years.., emotionally attached sport of every Indian. seeing our players crying on the field for the victory - We feel like crying - cried with happiness.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni - the captain of Indian Cricket team, the best pressure handler ever as captain. He proved that he is the best in all formats of cricket individually and as a captain. Its not so easy to play in the home country, home supporter's, he handled the pressure brilliantly with amazing and surprising decisions.

Sreesanth - Lucky star to the team. Yes, he is expensive, still a brilliant decision. Hope he will get back to form and give his best for Team India in the coming matches.

Zaheerkhan - Indian Fast Bowler with a lot of experience, accuracy and control over his bowling. His home ground as well, he was smart enough on the field not only today but all the matches he played in this tournament.

Gauti and Virat were amazing. They built-up a concrete base for the run chase. Hats-off guys. Youngsters are proving.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is a dream to all cricketers. Indian's conquered the cup. Hope men in blue will keep lifting the World Cup in the coming season's.

Anti-Nuclear Protest in Japan. Japan Crisis. Focus on Nuclear Reactor 2.

Anger against nuclear power on Tokyo's streets. Protests. Street Walks. Fakushima Nuclear Plant under trouble.

Highest radiation level yet in water inside the Fakushima Nuclear Plant adding fuel to growing uncertainty and increasing concern. Street protest creates a poor confidence level among Japanese. Crisis continues and this street protest is the proof for the countries inclined confidence over nuclear industry.

All attention on Fakushima is now on the reactor number two, workers fighting to bring it under control and odor out of the building. Despite the mis-calculation of initial measurements, the authorities confirmed anyone near the highly radio-active water inside would have received four times their maximum annual dose of radiation in just one hour.

According to Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan Mr. Yukio Edano on 27th March 2011; We are not sure why water is found in those places. We are trying our best to find the reasons and to identify the cause. Work is under way to eliminate the contaminated water so that restoration work can take place.

It all means more uncertainty to the country which is already nervous. Among those who standing against nuclear power, ordinary people wants the change.

Government assurance is that airborne radiations around the plant is falling of a little reassurance. In the sea nearby its increased again and the worry about the leaks within the plants reach the lives nearby.

Children will be affected much more than adults by nuclear leak - its time to voice my opinion.

What will be the future of Japan, if the nuclear plant leaks. Japan government should take immediate actions to save people not only by sorting out nuclear plant issues but also with legal practices in the nuclear industry.

Managing human resources in the emerging scenario

“People are our greatest asset” is a mantra that companies have been chanting for years. But only a few companies have started putting Human Resources Management (HRM) systems in place that support this philosophy. There are a number of challenges in the Indian IT industry which require the serious attention of HR managers to ‘find the right candidate’ and build a ‘conducive work environment’ which will be beneficial for the employees, as well as the organization. The IT industry is already under stress on account of persistent problems such as attrition, confidentiality, and loyalty. Other problems are managing people, motivation to adopt new technology changes, recruitment and training, performance management, development, and compensation management. With these challenges, it is timely for organizations to rethink the ways they manage their people. Managing HR in the knowledge based industry is a significant challenge for HR managers as it involves a multi-task responsibility. In the present scenario, HR managers perform a variety of responsibilities. Earlier their role was confined to administrative functions like managing manpower requirements and maintaining rolls for the organization. Now it is more strategic as per the demands of the industry.

Managing People

In view of the industry dynamics, in the current times, there is a greater demand for knowledge workers. Resumes abound, yet companies still fervently search for the people who can make a difference to the business. Often talented professionals enjoy high bargaining power due to their knowledge and skills in hand. The attitude is different for those who are taking up responsibilities at a lesser age and experience. These factors have resulted in the clear shift in approach to individualized career management from organization career commitment.

Motivating the Workforce

As the competition is growing rapidly in the global IT market, a technological edge supported by a talent pool has become a crucial factor for survival in the market. Naturally, as a result every organization gives top priority to technology advancement programs. HR managers are now performing the role of motivators for their knowledge workers to adopt new changes.

Competency Development

Human capital is the real asset for any organization, and this makes the HR role important in recruiting, managing, and retaining the best. The HR department has a clear role in this process and determines the success tempo of any organization. An urgent priority for most of the organizations is to have an innovative and competent HR pool; sound in HR management practices with strong business knowledge.

Recruitment and Training

Recruitment has become a major function from an imperative sub-system in HR, particularly in the IT industry. HR managers play a vital role in creating assets for the organization in the form of quality manpower. Attracting new talent also is a top priority for software companies, but less so for smaller companies. Another challenge for HR managers is to put systems in place to make the people a perfect fit for the job. Skill redundancy is fast in the IT industry. To overcome this problem, organizations give the utmost priority to training and skill enhancement programs on a continuous basis. Many IT companies are providing technical training to the employees on a quarterly basis. These trainings are quite useful also in terms of providing security to the employees.

The Trust Factor

Low levels of trust inhibit tacit knowledge sharing in the knowledge based industry. It is essential that the IT industry takes more initiatives to improve the security levels of the employees.

Work Life Balance Factor

Another dimension to the challenges faced by IT Industry is the growing pace of talent acquisition. This aspect creates with it the challenge of a smoother assimilation and the cultural binding of the new comers into the organization fold. The pressure of delivering the best of quality services in a reduced time frame calls for ensuring that employees maintain a work life balance.
One of the most important duties of the modern HR manager is to get things done through people. He has to bring employees into contact with the organization in such a way that the objectives of both groups are achieved. He must be interested in people, the work and the achievement of assigned objectives. To be effective, he must balance his concern for people and work. In other words he must know how to utilize human as well as non-human resources while translating goals into action.

Thank you for your comments in advance.

Major Hurdles in INDIAN TEXTILES - Human Resource, Volatile Market, Cotton Price, Slower Returns, Electricity.

In India the culture of silk was introduced in 400AD,while spinning of cotton traces back to 3000BC.

Indian textile enjoys a rich heritage and the origin of textiles in India traces back to the Indus valley Civilization where people used homespun cotton for weaving their clothes. Rigveda, the earliest of the Veda contains the literary information about textiles and it refers to weaving. Ramayana and Mahabharata, the eminent Indian epics depict the existence of wide variety of fabrics in ancient India. These epics refer both to rich and stylized garment worn by the aristocrats and ordinary simple clothes worn by the common people. The contemporary Indian textile not only reflects the splendid past but also cater to the requirements of the modern times.

A Labour Intensive Industry is now facing a major hurdle called "Man Power Shortage".

Will it be resolved ? or else the industry will be wiped away from INDIA ?

Textile sector accounting for 30% of Indian exports will be in vein then, global clothing sector will face trouble in getting enough productions. World of Textile will face various difficulties, if Indian Textile market stumbles.

China,Pakistan and Bangladesh being our major competitors with surplus manpower and lower production cost is now raising the edge to dominate the market.

Electricity Interruption and Cotton Price questions the Survival!

India is second largest producer and consumer of textiles globally is in need of man power and legal support. With high electricity interruptions, we already lag behind the target, additionally few more problems like frequent power crisis is  disturbing the industry. Cotton export is open from October 2010, which will eat the complete cotton production of 2010.From a month back ginning industry started to stock the production to export, this drastically increased the cotton price 20% hike in per candy price.  New cotton is expected by the end of November 2010. Hope new stocks will serve Indian needs.

Volatile Market and Slower Returns not like IT to deal with !
Cotton. Yarn. Clothing. Woolen. Rayon. Synthetic. Polyester. Technical Textiles. Agriculture. Natural Disasters. Climate.

When we speak about, Volatile Market and Slower Returns, we are forced to consider all the above fields. Climate, Natural Disaster accounts for major agricultural - Cotton production loss, which is the major production area. When it comes to cost of agricultural production, modern machineries are used because of labour shortage in breeding and sewing seeds to getting the agri product ready - it needs more money, so this is the start up place for increased production cost.

Next comes the ginning segment, where today lots of modernization takes place and automatically when investments goes high automatically quality, production cost and profit returns are expected high. Here the investment returns are obtained 88% successfully.

Next Comes the Spinning segment, where the advancement is at its peak and huge infra and investment is expected gives a very slow returns. This Spinning segment is one of the widely spread-ed one, where cotton converted in to cotton yarn, synthetic made in to synthetic yarn, polyester converted in to poly-yarn, woolen converted in to wool-cotton-polyester yarn (Mixture can be any kind), Rayon converted in to Cotton-rayon-yarn. So, here all the conversion process takes place after treating the raw material in wide process ares under different conditions and shapes.

Next comes warping, weaving, clothing segment. Where the any yarn output is made in to grey cloth and utilized for different fabric materials and shapes, designs are made.

Next comes Knitting - Garment  segment. Where a final shape of cloth is made like Shirts, T-Shirts, Trousers, Suitings, Inner wears, Table Cloth, Screen Cloth, Socks, Jersey's,Denim's non-woven fabrics and many more.

Next Comes the Hand Loom and Auto Loom segment. Where the Saree, Bead spread, Towels, Terry Products and lot more are produced.

Human Resource a Serious Issue..,

Above said all segments were integrated with a huge number of processes, industries, businesses, manufacturers, labour's, farmer's, buyer's, seller's, marketing agencies and lot more were engaged in this textile segment in total.

So a final product like Under wear, Tie, T-Shirt are reaching the desired segment of people after surpassing various quality standards and tests. A single textile product in any store is hard work of the whole textile society. Farmer to seller everybody involved and every one needs a income to survive automatically as per the social & economic needs salaries are increased, product cost was raised time to time.

Even though we are getting slow returns for our huge investments. This is how the manufacturing industry of India facing physical, Financial, social, economical and climatic problems and still overcoming every hurdle to survive and employing the 46% of Indian Population in different ways and in need of more man power. Will we survive ? this is answered periodically and the question arises periodically again and again.

We should get more man power to survive or else survival is really really difficult.

MP's SALARY HIKE ? LET THEM HAVE IT ! *conditions Apply.

My Dear Indian Nationals,

Wish you all a happy RAMADAN month !

Just Listen !

Don't chase the few, who makes annoying bills pass, and the media which increases its own TRP by discussing those subjects on live TV - projects the issue in many annoying ways again.
Should keep our eye's open. Let the salary hike come, yes they are public servants should enjoy at least a good salary. They should educate their own family and wanted to save for their future.

Now, my point is, to request the center/parliament  to consider

1.Law's against bribe.
2.Law's against misuse of powers.
3.Educational allotments like minister quota.., etc.
4.Work leave.
5.Not attending Parliamentary sessions.
6.Violating parliament regulations and code of conduct.
7.Basic education for every Member of Parliament.
8.Total election cost every five years can be shared by participating members via EMI from their monthly salary.
9.Traffic control by restricting number of vehicles used by any MP's on his road travel.
10.Every MP should adopt a village personally and should improve the economic and social reputation of the people.
11.Let the MP's consider their own medical problems and give way to next generation.

Let the parliament consider all the above points and even more stuffs there to consider, i just mentioned very few which i thought very important. All the democrats may have different views and wishes the parliament to consider, but it is not possible, though some important facts may be taken into account.
We are growing economy and young nation, give more and expect more is what i say.

My NATION is my PRIDE, i am not the one to stop my countries development and i will not let anyone to stop.

I salute the Gandhian politician's !
I salute the Indian Democracy!

Writing with a pen nor a sword depends on my MP's.

Not all Achievers are Leaders, but all Leaders are Achievers !!

Graduates of which field get the most work ?

Ever wondered students of which undergraduate course are most employable? Do engineering students have a higher chance of gaining full-time employment than other Arts students?

In order to address these doubts, the Beyond Graduation 2009 survey investigated which university qualifications most often led to full-time employment following graduation.

Information was collected from more than 5800 Australian university graduates who completed their studies in 2006. Conducted by Graduate Careers Australia, it was discovered that overall, the proportion of bachelor degree graduates who are in full-time work has increased since 2006, rising from 76.9 per cent to 86.8 per cent in 2009.
Other outcomes were -:
1) Male bachelor degree graduates were more likely to be in full-time employment across the board than female graduates.
2) Engineering graduates are among the first who find employment. About 93.3 per cent engineering graduates work full time just four months after completing their studies, and enjoyed the highest rate of full-time employment after graduation.
3) The next most highly employed are health graduates, with 87.1 per cent finding full-time work immediately after graduating.
4) Creative art graduates, according to Career FAQs, experienced the least full-time employment after graduating, both immediately after graduating and three years later. In 2006, around 54 per cent found full-time work, and by 2009 this had increased to 75.3 per cent.
